In 2001, both Bruce Pobanz and Jacqueline Branch-Pobanz were chosen to represent the Brunswick, Glynn County and South East Coastal Georgia Area in the 2002 Winter Olympics.

Mitt Romney, the one chosen to help save the 2002 Winter Olympics from financial default. Yes, the same Mitt Romney who is running to be America’s Next President, recognized Bruce and Jacqueline as one of the “Most Inspirational Pairs” he has seen.

In 2001, the Olympics even created a new “Inspirational Pairs Program” and Bruce and Jacqueline were the first married couple, in the 100 year history of the Winter Olympics, to carry the Olympic Torch together as a team.

Then Georgia Governor, Roy E. Barnes, said Bruce and Jacqueline were “chosen to represent the Southeast Coastal Region for their Community Volunteerism“.

Bruce and Jacqueline have been Community Humanitarians for much of their lives. They have given so much while asking for so little. Communities throughout this great Nation of America have bestowed upon them accolades of achievement for all they do, to help so many, in so many communities.

Brunswick and Glynn County are the home of Bruce and Jacqueline. They have volunteered their time and their skills to help make this a better community. Vote for Bruce Pobanz and Jacqueline Branch-Pobanz and help the betterment of your community too.
